Jahangir Emami was born in 1935 in Tehran, Iran, and passed away on May 13, 2025, in Amsterdam, Netherlands. At the age of 16, he began climbing the local mountains surrounding Tehran and later became a member of the Damavand Mountain Club. Throughout his life, he explored and summited numerous mountains and caves, leaving a legacy of adventure and discovery.

After he improved his skills as a mountaineer, he claimed many mountains and explored many caves in Iran. He was the main coach for Mountain rescue in Tehran Fire Department.
He now retied in Amsterdam, Netherland
